Who we are

The controller of your personal data is the operator of alerthedge.com. Contact for all privacy requests: privacy@alerthedge.com.

What we collect

• The email address you enter in the sign-up form.
• The time of sign-up.
• The sign-up source, if the link you came from carried one (for example the name of a video channel).
• Your country, derived by our hosting provider from the network request. We do not store your IP address.

Fonts are hosted on this site. Analytics runs only with your consent, see below.

Why and on what basis

To email you about the launch of Alert Hedge and, once it opens, to send you the weekly brief. The legal basis is your consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)), which you give by submitting the form.

How long we keep it

Until you withdraw consent. If the service does not launch, we delete the list within 12 months of sign-up.

Cookies and analytics

We use Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Ltd. and Google LLC, as our processors) to count visits and see which pages and sign-up forms work. Analytics cookies (_ga and _ga_KGHDKNP9X7) are set only if you click “Accept”. Until then analytics storage is denied. The cookies expire after 2 years; analytics data is kept for 14 months. We use no advertising cookies and do not enable advertising features. You can change your choice at any time: Cookie settings. The legal basis is your consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a) and the ePrivacy rules). Data may be processed by Google in the United States under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

Who processes it

Cloudflare, Inc. hosts the website and stores the list as our processor; Google processes analytics data (see above). We do not sell your data or share it with advertisers.

Your rights

You can ask us at any time to show, correct or delete your data, to restrict its use, or to withdraw your consent, by writing to privacy@alerthedge.com. You can also complain to the Estonian Data Protection Inspectorate (aki.ee).
